Volunteers are required to undertake practical and nature conservation projects at one of Northern Ireland's most important nature conservation sites.

Lagan Valley Regional Park is a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ and comprises over 4000 acres of scenic woodland, wetland, grassland and riverside habitats. The backbone of the park is the River Lagan and towpath.

Volunteers play an integral role in the conservation of this beautiful landscape. Becoming a volunteer gives you the opportunity to gain new knowledge and skills while working to conserve wildlife in your local area.

No experience is necessary as full training will be provided, all that we require is that volunteers are enthusiastic motivated and willing to have fun!!!
